Strangetown, Season 3 - Singles

Anyhow! I’m swinging round Strangetown again today, starting with the Singles household.

“So, Nina said me coming over ‘really meant something’. Do you think she likes me?”
“Obviously she likes you, Chloe, you’ve been woohooing for months.”
“Yeah but I mean like-likes! Are you evening listening?”
“Not really, I’m trying to focus on the crossword.”
“Bitch!”

With yet another promotion lined up, Kristen moves out to Simcity, where she’s going to be moving in with Vidcund. At this point the Singles’ household is pretty much just the Curious sisters, but they’re happy enough with the arrangement that they aren’t desperately looking for new roommates.

“Yo, Erin!”

“Uh, hey. Is this how we’re greeting each other now?”

“This is how I greet all my friends!”

“No it isn’t!”

“Okay, let me correct myself. This is how I greet all my hot friends.”

“Okay, little miss uptight, I’ll keep my kisses to myself next time.”
“I mean, I don’t mind! Just a little warning next time? And I’m not uptight.”
“Oh?”

“I’m not! I have casual woohoo sometimes with this hot older artist guy I know.”
“And my brother Lazlo!”
“Yeah! -hey! How do you know about that?”
“I can always sense when a Curious is getting lucky.”
“Ew.”

This is what a typical evening for the Curious girls looks like right now.

With Lola planning to eventually run for mayor and improve circumstances for hybrid sims everywhere, she knows she’s going to need to start thinking about settling down. Living the bachelorette lifestyle with her sister indefinitely suits her just fine, but the voters won’t like it.

Her neighbor, Chester Gieke, seems like a suitable candidate. Kind of cute, a little nerdy (what is with with nerdy boys and alien kinks?), unfalteringly in support of her cause, and -importantly- meek and easy to boss around.

Chloe’s happy with her gig as a party DJ, and hasn’t really been working her way up the job ladder. She makes a little on the side with the suspicious plants she grows in the basement.

Hanging out with the neighbors. People are always dropping in and out of their house, whether it’s to flirt with another house guest, dance, or borrow the bubble machine. Chloe’s even been able to coax the General into a friendly water balloon fight one time!

Woo!

Chester’s a particularly frequent and popular house-guest. Chloe encourages him to go for it with her sister.

“Trust me, she’s desperate! She’s not been laid in like a gazillion years.”

“I heard that!”

“Hey Nini! Picked up a new lover, yet?”
“Several, actually.”
“Atta girl. I’m still your favorite though, right?”
“Always.”

“Hey… Nina.”
“Hmm?”
“I’m not saying this because I expect anything, or want anything to change but… I-” she gasped for the words, moving her mouth soundlessly. “I… uh. Let me start again. I… I lo- Actually, nevermind-”
“I love you.”
“Oh. Really?”
“Yeah.”
“Good, me too.”

If she was the marrying type, Chloe would definitely marry Nina.

Chloe’s infatuation with Nina doesn’t stop her from having other kinds of fun, naturally.
