Strangetown, Season 3 - Monty-Capp

Strangetown’s newest residents were platonic life partners Bianca Monty and Kent Capp, who’ve come to Strangetown to get away from family pressures. They don’t waste time getting to know the new neighbors.

Bianca becomes close friends with Penny and Chloe.
“Kent’s working at the lab, but his true passion is probably art. He wants to be an architect.”
“Lazlo and Pascal have said good things about his work. He could probably go places if he stuck with science. But I understand how he feels. I’ve always been gifted in the sciences, maybe thinks to my heritage, but I’m been more interested in other people, myself. So I’m a journalist.”
“Boring! Come and dance, guys!”

Kent and his townie boyfriend are still going strong!

“Bianca!”
“John! What brings you all the way out here?”
“I need to talk to someone.”

“So, what’s up?”
“I cheated on Jen. Twice!”
“What!! Who with?”
“Brandi and, uh, Mary.”
“What the heck, John?”
“I don’t know! I just… our fertility problems are getting to me. I just want another baby, Bea.”
Bianca was both saddened and incensed. She’d privately harbored a bit of a crush on John, but had filed him away as off-limits considering his marital status. She’d always been jealous of his nice, normal family, and he was going to throw it away?
“It might not be anything to do with Jennifer, you know. It could be you.”
He sighed. “I know, I know. What do I do, Bea?”
“Isn’t it obvious? You have to tell her!”

“Mamma! Hi!… Yeah, it’s lovely here. A lot of the people are weird, but no weirder than the Summerdreams… No, I haven’t found a husband! I do have other goals in life you know, Mamma… Yes, kids would be nice, but it would have to be the right man…”

Bianca is a little envious of Tara Loner’s pregnancy. The two women bond easily.

“Hey, Kitty. Almost didn’t see you there, your fur is just like sand!”

Bianca still commuted to work at the family restaurant. She and Antonio were joint head chefs now, and unsure of which of them would inherit the place.

“You’ll have to come by the restaurant sometime and try out our milkshakes. They’re not exactly Italian, but they’re ever so popular!”
“Will you be there?”

“I, um, really like you, Bee.”
“Oh. Really? Nobody’s ever told me that before.”
“What, really?”
“Well, not like that.”
“But you’re so pretty and smart!”

Kent opted to sleep on the couch that night.
