Strangetown, Season 3 - Beaker

Last family in Strangetown! It’s time for the Beakers and their ridiculously evil looking castle.

Loki’s developed a family secondary, and tends to be very hands-on with the kids. He’s becoming more and more attached to the idea of having a little heir that follows in his footsteps.

“Can you say ‘Dadda’?”
“Dadda!”
“Enough with the baby talk, Loki. Do we want to raise an idiot? Just teach her your name.”
“Okay, right. Can you say ‘Loki’?” He pointed to himself.
“Dadda!”
Circe rolled her eyes.

Here’s the personality spread of all the Beaker toddlers. Calypso and Cruella only have a nice point between them, while Testee is the sweetest thing.

Testee is pretty neglected and lives in Nervous’ old bedroom. They’ve got big plans for when she’s older, but she’s useless to them right now.

Not that the other girl’s aren’t slightly neglected, too. Loki and Circe are more interested in each their than their offspring. Besides, the butler keeps them fed.

Circe was not a fan of children in general, even her own, and she was certainly no fan of Loki’s alien abomination. She’d have been put up for adoption straight away if she wasn’t so valuable as a test subject.

Calypso grows up! She’s got Circe’s features, mostly, but the all-important Beaker nose. The princess dress she transitioned into definitely suits her personality.

Using her new-found size for DOMINATION

More transitions! These two are really close in age since Loki and Circe were pregnant around the same time.
They’ve both got Loki’s eyebrows, but somehow on Cruella they look menacing and on Testee they look sad? Maybe it’s the size of the eyes.

I gave Testee a makeover (or makeunder?) that breaks my heart, tbh.

It doesn’t take Calypso long to work out how to enter the lab, where she discovers a sister she’s never met.

“Dad, why do you have an alien in your lab?”
“Don’t be silly, sweetheart.”
“I saw her! She’s really weird and ugly-lookin’.”
“Wait. Calypso! Did she see how you left the laboratory?”
She shrugged. “I dunno, maybe.”
“Curses!”

Testee uses her new freedom to take out all of her pent-up frustration on the poor bin.

“Wow! I didn’t know the Beakers had a hybrid kid.”
“A what?”
“You’re part alien! Like me.”
“Cool! What’s an alien?”
Their cover was completely blown now that Testee was out and about, talking to random meddlers. But it didn’t matter. There was no reason she couldn’t go to school and be their test subject. They’d make sure she didn’t talk.

If it weren’t for Testee Loki might actually win Father of the Year.
