Pleasantview, Season 3 - Pleasant (Mary-Sue)

Previously, Mary-Sue and her daughter Lilith moved in with Mary’s parents temporarily, while Mary-Sue and Daniel sorted out the divorce. Now that her settlement’s come through, Mary-Sue’s wasted no time buying a new place and settling down. She considered completely uprooting and moving somewhere new, but as long as her parents and her best friend Cassandra are living here, she’s staying in Pleasantview. Cassandra’s house is right next door, in fact!

Mary-Sue wastes no time in moving her new paramour Trent into the house. Trent’s a Hall of Famer, making him technically Daniel’s boss? Nice.

Dinner with some friends, new and old. New resident Sandy Beech is a recent divorcee, too.

Lilith’s doing pretty well at work, and buys herself a guitar to celebrate.

Lilith brings Angela home! This was a a shock to me, but not an unwelcome one. Seems with everything the twins have been through, they’ve finally decided to bury the hatchet.

Lilith’s going-away-to-college party! Her younger friends come to see her off, and even Angela puts in an appearance.

Lilith’s not sure what’s going to happen with her and Dirk. She’s heading for Le Tour, but his family can’t really afford it, and so he’s stuck with Sim State. Angela confides that she’s picked Sim State as well, for Dustin’s sake. Lilith is a little dumbfounded. She loves Dirk, kinda, but she can’t imagine putting aside her own dreams for him.

And she’s off! Mary-Sue can’t help but feel a little lonely, knowing her daughters are both growing up. Still, she has her pottery, which she’s recently taken up again. She has Roux, the stray dog she adopted the other day. And she has Trent. She’ll be okay.
