Strangetown, Season 2 (Autumn) - Singles, part 2

Chloe’s friend Nina Caliente was in full angsty-breakup mode, so Chloe decided to invite her over. Now was the perfect time to make a move, obviously.

“I’ll make us lunch.”

“Ooooh, what are you making?”

“Sandwiches.”

“Haha, fancy.”

“So, how are you doing?”

“I’m okay, I guess. Veronaville is nice! I’ve been working at the Montys and trying to move on from the whole Don thing. Seeing new people, all that good stuff.”

“Glad to hear it. I don’t know what Don was thinking, anyway. Imagine picking some rich bitch over the love of your life! Say ‘aaaaaah’.”

“’Aaaaaaah’. I don’t think I was the love of Don’s life, Chloe.”

“Let’s hope not, for his sake! Anyway, fancy some no-strings-attached-feel-better-soon-woohoo?”

“Always.”

With this promotion, Kristen decided it was time to ditch Strangetown and move to the city. She’d never been too fond of Strangetown itself, but she was definitely fond of a few people she’d met there, and almost didn’t want to say goodbye.

She refused to rot away in this town forever, though. It was now or never.

“Get a room, guys.”

“We would, if someone hadn’t taken Erin’s nice big room, which is the only room in the house that could fit a double bed.”

Oh, shit? What? No… feelings!!!!

(She turned her attention to Ripp real quick to try and ignore the fact that she’d just been struck by three bolts of lightning.)

“Wooo, make out!”

“Maybe when you’ve gone to bed.”

“Who’s your boy toy, Chloe? Should I be jealous?”

“Nah, he’s just a kid.”

“Hey! Just-a-kid, this!”

“Pillows, my one weakness! Save me, Nina!”

“Nina can’t save you now.”

“How did all these people get into our house?”

“I invited them in.”

“WHY?”

“I thought it’d make for a good party! Lighten up, Lola. Try chatting someone up.”

“No thanks, I’m going to bed.”

“Kristen!”

“Hey, cutie.”

“Nice dress.”

“Thanks! I thought I’d make a special effort, since I’m taking you out on a date.”

“Oh, so that’s why you called me here?”

“Yup. I’ve got something important I wanna talk to you about.”

“Kristen…”

“Yeah?”

“I’m in love with you.”

“That’s good, because I’m in love with you, too!”

“Is that what you wanted to talk to me about?”

“Huh? No, no. Let’s get in the car, I’ll explain at the restaurant.”

“Okay, here’s the deal: I got promoted at work, so I’m relocating to Downtown, Sim City. But I don’t really want to do the long distance thing. I’m going to be busy with work, and I’m not going to have the time to visit Strangetown every other week.”

“I see…”

“So here’s my crazy idea! Come with me?”

Vidcund blinked. “I thought you were breaking up with me.”

“What? No! I’m asking you to move in with me.”

“All right.”

“All right?”

“Let’s do it. I’ve been wanting to move out of that place for some time, anyway. I love my brothers, but living with them isn’t terribly relaxing.”

“Really? Wow! Let’s toast. To new beginnings!”

“To new beginnings.”

“Hey Viddy. How’d the date go?”

“We’re moving in together.”

“Holy shit! Way to go, bro.”
