Strangetown, Season 2 (Autumn) - Beaker, part 2

A quick recap of the situation in the Beaker house.

Circe wasn’t mad about Loki’s pregnancy. It was disgusting, yes, but just think! The hybrid would be a perfect test subject.

With their family growing and the arrival of a promising new test subject imminent, the Beakers simply no longer had room in their massive house for Nervous, nor any practical use for him. So they kicked him out.

It wasn’t as bad as it sounded, Circe had insisted to the Butler. Nervous had a job now, friends who cared about him, and hell, he’d even tracked down his long lost mother. He didn’t need to be their test subject any more.

Loki had had his reservations about raising a baby girl, but Calypso had turned out to be a real joy, and he doted on her. Loki was morphing slowly into a family man, even making his daughter toy robots (which he played with more than she did, but still!)

Circe gave birth alone this time, but it was actually easier without Loki screaming in the background. It was a beautiful baby girl with grey eyes, which she named Cruella.

She hoped she wouldn’t need to have any more children, though. Two was already more than she’d planned on.

Testee Beaker was a little less treasured.

End of Autmn in Strangetown.
