Widespot, Season 2 - Land (part 2)

Next up: some very haphazardly-organised university play. I’m thinking I’ll set the seasons to Summer-Autumn-Summer-Autumn (LFT, because it’s hot!), Spring-Autumn-Spring-Autumn (SSU, because of all the premades and their romantic drama) and Winter-Autumn-Winter-Autumn (ALT, because it’s vaguely Shakesperean and England gets cold as hell, also it already snowed there once). Of course, you gotta have lots of autumn for skilling, since it’s uni! I’m pretty happy with that as a set-up.

I’m also going to switch weekly “fake seasons” for actual seasonal rotation once I get back to Pleasantview! Mostly because I’ve started using Phaenoh’s Summer Vacation mod, which doesn’t work very well with my current set up. And also because the rounds at the moments are a teensy bit too long! We’ll see how I get on with shorter rotations.

Tank, Virginia, Goldie, Jared Starchild, Ty Bubbler, Sam Thomas, and Dixie! They’re all going to be dorming together at SSU.

Out-take I found pretty amusing. Maybe these are going to be a thing every time I do one of these half-assed photoshoots?

Here’s a summary of how things are going so far in one picture, lmao. Tank has hit it off with Sam Thomas, finding her down to earth and easy to relate to. Dixie and Ty Bubbler both vy for Jared’s attention and affection, while Virginia and Goldie don’t really seem too bothered by romance and just spend some time catching up and watching all the antics.

(Dixie’s already suckered some poor dormie into writing her term paper for her.)

“What about you, Goldie? Any boys at the dorm take your fancy?”
“I dunno. Aliens are, um, my thing, but.. I never meet any!”
“What about Woody?”
“Huh? But aren’t you dating Woody?”
“Kinda, but I don’t think it’s really that serious. I’m going to explore my options while I’m here, anyway. Not yet, of course. I want to get a feel for campus first, you know?”
“Sure. I’m thinking I’ll join the cheer team.”
“Wow! Will they train you in beating up those Fiesta Tech Cow Mascots?”
“I sure hope so!”

Dixie and Ty have a bit of a love rivalry going on. I’m sort of hoping they all end up sharing (Jared’s a hippie, Dixie’s open-minded, and Ty’s interested in different relationship philosophies), but they don’t seem too pleased with things at the moment! They do both have wants to befriend each other, though, so here’s hoping.

“Oh, hey. Is it all right if I use the telescope when you’re done.”
“Sure, I’m just finishing up.”
“Take your time. I’ll just do some bird watching in the meantime, if you don’t mind the company?”
“I don’t mind, but isn’t it a bit dark for birds?”

“So Dix! What’s the deal with Jared and Ty?”
“I dunno. They’re in love, I guess? But Jared likes to make out with me sometimes, too.”
“Wha..?”
“I’m just rolling with it. They’re both hot, so who cares?”
“I would!”
“Good thing you ain’t me, then,” Dixie grinned, “and wait, you didn’t mind Woody seeing other girls!”
“That was different. He wasn’t making out with them right in front of me.”

Goldie’s very used to this kind of thing by now growing up with the Harts, and can’t help rolling her eyes a little.
