Pleasantview, Season 2 (Autumn) - Dreamer, part 2

“So, it’s my first day as a parking officer. Any advice?”

“Here’s my advice, Lucy. Make as much money as possible.”

“Mary! My husband’s told me all about you. Come in.”

Jenifer and John both understood the importance of having lots of friends, but she didn’t understand why so many of his were young, attractive women!

“So, me and Val got engaged!”

“That’s great news, Mary. When’s the wedding?”

“We haven’t set a date yet, but you and the family are both welcome to attend!”

“Sounds lovely. Me, Jen and Lucy will absolutely be there.”

John smiled. He loved a wedding. And it would be nice for them all to go out together. Jenifer and Lucy were always so busy rushing about, sometimes he felt like they didn’t do enough as a family.

Lucy makes some new friends. Calvin’s a buddy of Angela’s, and Bottom, from Veronaville, is one of the coolest kids she’s ever met.

The Burbs’ marriage was as strong as ever, but John couldn’t help getting frustrated, sometimes. They’d been trying for a baby for a year now, and nothing. What was wrong?

Lucy was good at Sunday mornings. The way she begun them was, of course, doing all the homework she’d ignored over the week. Hey, at least it wasn’t Sunday night! She was so on top of things, it was insane.

“Hey, Alex!”

“Morning, yellow pajamas.”

“Hold on, okay? I’ll be right down.”

“Hi, Lucy. How’s it going?”

“My parents are making out all over the place and it’s gross. You?”

“I know the feeling. Ever since Mom got back, she and Dad have been all over each other.”

“Gross.”

“Yeah.”

“So I’m doing my best a work, but my evil schemes keep failing!”

“Maybe you’re in the wrong career?”

“Nah. Law Enforcement is the place to start, ‘know your enemy’ and all that. Besides, the pay is good. Not all of us have stinking rich parents, you know!”

“Okay, point taken.”

(I’m really, really happy with Lucy’s room design and makeover. She’s rapidly becoming one of my favorites. She spends a lot of time daydreaming, and makes friends easily.

Also, sorry for inconsistency with hairstyles and interior decorating in these pictures, this was when I switched over to PC and there were some CC issues.)

Autonomous family dance party!

“It’d be cool to see a lot of the world, I think. I’m hoping to travel when I’m older.”

“Why don’t you just go with your parents? They could afford it!”

“Are you kidding? I don’t want to be the third wheel on their second honeymoon. Besides, I’d rather go when I’m older. Maybe after college.”

“Well, sign me up! I’ve always wanted to do some adventuring.”

The Burbs were doing pretty well, financially.

Lucy was really excited to learn how to use a gun. She knew law enforcement was a good idea!

He’s not exactly the boy (or girl!) of her dreams, but Lucy wants to get some practice in and puts the moves on her pal Calvin.

Some misc pictures before we move on to Strangetown.
