Downtown, Season 2 - Candy Hart

I wasn’t sure Candy was going to cut it Downtown with no job. I had to have Rich send her money just for her to be able to afford the apartment. (He’s still got a weakness for her and was happy to help, especially if it puts some distance between them. And also some distance between her and Junior, because he does NOT want her marrying his son.)

Luckily, Candy’s natural charm wins her several expensive gifts, which she immediately sells for rent money. (I started making over the townies that moved into the neighboring apartments so they better fit their surroundings.)
She’s also taken on a job in the Slacker career, which she had a want for. Candy and Rose are gonna do just fine, I think.

“Oh, hey Rhett… yeah, I’m doing okay… She had another one??? Gross, why any woman would want to go through that again is beyond me… yeah, you won’t catch me having any more brats… You’ll have to move out soon too, you know! With a sim like her it’s only a matter of time until the house is spilling over with them… hold on, my date’s here. We’ll talk later.”

“So who’s the kid’s father?”
“You know what? I have no idea! I’m assuming it’s the rich kid’s but it could be his Daddy’s, if he’s not too old.”
“Uh…”
“Look, Widespot didn’t have a lot of options, okay? But it’s Rose’s birthday today if you wanna see her transition. Maybe her face will clear up some of the mystery when she ages up. All babies look the same to me.”

She’s definitely Junior’s! Rose grows up with a fairly mild personality, aside from her complete lack of any nice points.

“I’ve got my first day at work today, would you mind looking after Rose?”
“Anything for a pretty lady!”
