Academie Le Tour, Season 1 - Part 2

Meanwhile, on a completely different note, Mercutio Monty had entered Le Academie Le Tour, joining Fin, Ellen, and Chaz at the dorms.

His life in Veronaville had been pretty crappy, in all honesty. Fighting Capps constantly was a drag. Tybalt was bad enough, but Juliette? What was her deal? His brother’s girlfriend, and his girlfriend’s sister. It should have been sweet, two brothers dating two sisters, awesome. But Juliette made things so difficult. His leaving party had been such a fucking nightmare.

He could see Hermia losing interest in him, too. He liked her, but he knew she had her eye on Puck Summerdream (who was dating her brother, ick, but hey, Veronaville.) They were on a “break” officially, but he doubted it was going to last.

He was glad to be leaving Veronaville behind.

Ellen Frost was totally hot, but completely off-limits. Lesbian, of course. The hottest girls always were. Not that that stopped Chaz taking a shot or two. God, he was an embarrassment. Mercutio liked him, though. He liked Ellen, too. Sure she wouldn’t make out with him, but he could watch her make out with that punkie dormie, which was almost as good.

Anyway, it wasn’t as if he was striking out all the time. Cheerleaders were the best.

His family paid a visit once in a while, which was nice. As much as he didn’t miss Veronaville, he missed them.

Tybalt was doing the college thing too, and moved in with some students called Emily and Tom. He didn’t fancy the whole dorm experience, and these two seemed studious and sensible.

At first he thought they were a couple, but it turned out they were just friends. Quickly, he became friends with them, too.

It was weird. He’d never really had friends in Veronaville. Puck liked him, obviously, but that was about it. But there was no feud here. Well, besides the llamas vs the cows. But no Capps and Montys. He wasn’t used to it. He felt so angry all the time, but had no solid target to direct that anger at

It caused him to get into the odd fight. With his professor, one time. Maybe it had never been about the Montys. Maybe the problem had always been him.

“So, Ty. How’s your love life, anyway? You got a girlfriend back home?”

“I’ve got a boyfriend. Or had one. I don’t know, it’s complicated.”

“You’re gay???”

“I don’t know! Maybe?”

“It’s okay, dude.”

“It’s not okay! Grandpa would kill me if he found out.”

“I sure he’d understand-”

“No, you don’t know him. Trust me, he wouldn’t. Besides, I’ve got to uphold the family name. I’m a Capp, so-”

“Morning, boys! Whatcha talking about?”

“Oh, nothing much. Guy stuff.”

(I played the Sharpes a little too, but they haven’t got much of a story going as of yet. I’m planning on setting Mercutio up with Roxie and Jonah.)
