Driftwood MMC - Year 1 - Winter - Glanndour
The Glanndours were so stressful to play, I don’t have a lot of pictures! I am not sure what the root of the recent fighting between Bermund and his father Lambert is, but I wish it would stop!
Note: actually, since mkaing this post I've figured it out - Bermund flirted with Esther (his father's sweetheart) while drunk!
The family spent most of the round fighting each other, fighting literal fires, and fighting illness. I am surprised Lambert hasn’t died of sickness like most of my elders, he’s a tough nut to crack!
The twins Donnan and Maiwenn finally grew up, which was exciting! They’re as close as ever. Donnan also reconnected with childhood friend Leofe, and the two shared a sweet first kiss! Aww.
They fell in love immediately, so I’m calling it true love and will probably get them hitched quickly, since Donnan is the heir! Just gotta get some of his older sisters moved out first, so the house has the space…
Speaking of which, 2nd daughter & local midwife Bryanna finally found a man she liked, and wasted no time locking Wulfgar down! It was tough getting her father’s approval (Bertrand was not impressed that they jumped into bed so quickly, I bet), but they got engaged as soon as he gave his consent.
Honestly, I am not sure about them as a couple! They look good together, but Wulfgar is a romance sim and unlikely to be 100% faithful. Then again maybe Bryanna is just being pragmatic - if she wants out of this crowded madhouse so she can focus on her craft she needs a place of her own, and for that she needs a husband…
Oh, and right as I was finishing the round and paying taxes, Hilda grew up into an adult and immediately started having a mental breakdown. Not surprised, honestly.
Anyway, that’s the Glanndours! I moved Bryanna out to start a new household with her betrothed, since the household was driving me nuts lol! I have considered moving Hilda out too, to live with her employers (the Morgreens), but I guess we’ll see how she gets on as an adult, maybe there’s a nice match out there for her!
