Year 1 - Autumn - Rudhall
I decided to play the Rudhalls next! They’re usually a pretty chill family, and I’ll admit I was also curious about Michael’s little affiar with Primrose.
Rose and James are adorable as always. It’s nice to see siblings who are close!
James is friends with both Leofe Bouldre & Maiwenn Glanndour, and today he finally got a chance to introduce them! :)
Rose is into Finley, so asks him on a date when she sees him at the village green. She manages to get a first kiss with him, but for some reason he’s a little hot & cold with her! What gives?
I finally remembered I wanted to start using Teaaddictyt’s Random Occurance Scenarios, and decided to roll for this family!
I guess Michael’s on the hunt for the supernatural this round. Maybe looking for those sexy elves he’s always talking about??????
He heads into the forrest at night, in search of the ellusive woodland elves… his friend Bryanna is also here foraging herbs. She’s not very impressed by his personal quest.
Back home, Rose has made a potentially stranger and supernatural discovery of her own. What’s with the strange, glowing eggs in this tree..?
Rose makes an important discovery! Sure, she might not be as attracted to Joshua as she was Finley, but they’re already such good friends and he’s actually into her! She wasn’t sure she liked him like that at first, but once they started dancing she fell in love <3
Unfortunately, Primrose and her new husband are here. And, to my shock, she leapt into Michael’s arms! He even fell in love with her. :O
Weirdly, her husband didn’t seem to care, maybe because he isn’t in love with her just yet. Her new brother-in-law Reginald, however, was not impressed!
Then, Elliot came over to stake his claim and kiss his wife. All hell broke loose, with Michael immediately falling out of love and becoming furious.
He knew she was married, of course, but he thought it was a loveless arranged match! What’s with this tender kissing?????
The kids are terribly upset. Time to go home, I think!!!
Rose tucks in her little brother and heads to the Orange Octopus for a night of fun. To my amusement, though, the adults at the bar kept on stealing her drinks before she had the chance to try any of them! I wouldn’t assume Driftwood enforces any sort of legal drinking age, but maybe they could sense she was going to pick a fight with Primrose if she started drinking? XDDD
The family in the end, according to my dice roll, didn’t find anything supernatural. But at the end of the round, they did recieve a genie lamp!
To be honest, though, this is actually the third genie lamp we’ve had. I let the Bouldres keep theirs because they were the first to get one, but I don’t want all my medieval sims to magically escape all their hardships through magic, it feels kind of cheaty I guess! So they sold the lamp.
I did let them use the money to buy a little horticultural station, though. They kept rolling wants to gain creativity skill, and this felt like a peasant-appropriate way to do it. Plus, the pigs are a very slow source of income, so this will help them out a little financially, too.
At the end of the round, James grew up and became a pleasure sim, like his dad! Poor Rose, she is surrounded by slackers and slobs. She’s a romance sim but extremely serious and humourless, while her little brother is super playful. They get along great despite their differences, though <3
I always think this family will struggle for money, but in the end they were fine!
