Year 1 - Autumn - Dowrick, part 2
With the Dowrick girls all married off, we can get back to the main family.
Jillian has weaved some basket-skeps for the Glanndours, so Thomas heads into the forrest to look for old Lambert, and makes a tidy $350!
Helen and her woodcutter husband are also hanging out here, of course :)
Sadly, after spending some time gossiping with his daughter-in-law, old Daveth came down with a fatal case of elder’s cought and passed away :( the Dowrick household is really downsizing quickly…
Aw, poor Thomas :(
As sad as Thomas might be about losing his father and, in a way, two daughters, business is booming so that keeps him busy!
Oh, interesting…
Margey comes over to buy fish, so Thomas gifts her with some woven baby-stuff Jillian finished weaving. It pays to have a reed-weaver for a mother, I guess.
The family spent some time at the village green, but apparently I only took pictures of unrelated visitors, haha! That checks out, I always love seeing who shows up on community lots.
Right, that’s the end of the Dowrick round! They are doing just fine for money, but their numbers sure are dwindling.
I’m also not sure what to do about Finley… he’s the heir, but isn’t into any of the girls in the neighbourhood who are elligible for marriage with a peasant man. He’s mainly into Nigel Bouldre! I guess we’ll see what happens with that.
