Driftwood
A small settlement on the coast of Dezruland, Driftwood is the setting for my first ever Medieval Charter Challenge. I first began the challenge in 2024, after getting heavily inspired by TeaAddict's YouTube tour of her MCC hood, and after reading a lot of sterina-sims' blog. This challenge, which contained elements of other challenges I loved and seemed simpler than other hisotrical challenges I'd seen, really intrigued me! I had attempted a Test of Time challenge way back in 2014, ten years previously, but found the sheer scale of the challenge overwhelming. This one seemed manageable, and I found the concept really inspiring!
I am currently in the Winter of Year 1, and have reached Hamlet status. When playing the challenge I wanted to focus more on enjoying the game and less on storytelling and documenting every little thing, so I took way less pictures than normal. Of course, however, I've become attached to it now and wanted a space on this site to document everything after all :D
